Ice skate sharpening available at SkatePro for both hockey and figure skates.
- This service can be selected when buying ice skates from SkatePro.
- We only perform standard edge sharpening.
"Manufacturers supply ice skates with a basic sharpening that allows the blade to be used for skating. However, this sharpening is not particularly effective and nowhere near the standard of newly sharpened ice skates" (by Kenwin, Ice skate expert at SkatePro)
Sharpening ice skates is considered a service, hence typical return rights do not cover the sharpening. If skates with the sharpening service are purchased, you can still exercise your return rights on the skates. Please be aware that the sharpening quality is also influenced by the quality of the ice skates themselves. This implies that a less expensive skate will never be as sharp and effective as a pricier ice skate.
The quoted price is for sharpening a pair of skates.
