SHELL
The shell prioritises strength and support in its design. Constructed from a specialised composite compound infused with 25% fibreglass, it achieves exceptional stiffness. It includes a 165mm long mounting distance allowing the skater to adjust the frame to the side, helping to find the ideal skating position.
PADDING
This skate is equipped with distinctive three-layer padding: harder foam on the exterior, softer foam within, and an additional 3-D latex foam in the ankle region to enhance ankle and heel support during each stride. Underneath the lining, we've added soft sponge foam for extra comfort and support. The external padding is maintained in shape by a special heat mouldable chemical sheet.
LACING
The model incorporates micro mesh material and high-grade PU upper material. Powerslide has implemented conventional lacing with plastic loops for this skate. The additional 45° powerstrap secures the heel firmly. Superior stitching quality and meticulous finish in details, along with a rear carrying strap, complete this remarkable skate.
FRAME
The frame is crafted from a two-piece structure, with two distinct aluminium 3-D stamped sidewalls, joined by a robust and sturdy mounting block. This frame's standard mounting is 165mm, accommodating various fitness skates on the market.
TYRES & BEARINGS
The 6 ¼” air tyres are manufactured by Kenda – a renowned tyre producer. They include a strong 5-spoke rim. The area around the valve is covered with rim tape, as commonly seen in bicycle tyres. The tyres can be inflated up to a maximum of 6.3 bar / 90 psi.
150mm Super High Rebound PU wheels are available for separate purchase. Ideal for skaters who prefer skating primarily on asphalted roads and desire increased speed.
BRAKE
The Powerslide calf brake offers numerous adjustment possibilities to suit individual preferences and skating skills, providing the skater with a sense of security and optimal braking performance. The skater can adjust the brake pad in every direction, including the angle. The height adjustment feature is ideal for finding the favoured braking position, whether with a straighter or more angled leg posture. The pad can be easily replaced if worn down. The skate comes with only one brake system.
