Derby Jump Black Quad Roller skates

These park skates by Chaya are premium quad roller skates, showcasing many of the technologies that Chaya has refined through their passion for Roller Derby.

The Jump skate boot features a high-cut leather/PU clad design with a mesh interior. Heavily influenced by trainer styles, the foam-padded boot offers comfort for long sessions. The laces are designed to provide a snug and precise fit, enhancing control.

The roller skates are equipped with Chaya's Shari plates, which utilise a combination of nylon and fibreglass for a robust yet lightweight plate. Paired with the 20° cast aluminium trucks and Jelly Interlock cushions, these skates are highly manoeuvrable, making them enjoyable to skate and easy to manage.

Octo Paseo wheels have a soft, grippy 78A durometer. When combined with the Wicked ABEC7 bearings, this creates an excellent setup. Be aware that if you plan to use these skates exclusively for indoor derby, you might prefer harder wheels better suited for this purpose. Controller toe stops make it easy to change direction and stop.

These skates are suitable for regular fitness skating outdoors. However, they excel in parks and on vert ramps, where they can truly display their full capabilities. With their mid-cut boot, they are also ideal for Roller Derby novices (though harder indoor wheels might be necessary).
