Derby Jump Red Quad Roller skates

These park skates from Chaya are premium quad roller skates, encompassing many of the innovations that Chaya has refined through their passion for Roller Derby.

The Jump skate boot is a high-cut boot covered in leather/PU with a mesh interior. Its design heavily takes after sneaker styles, and the foam padding ensures comfort for prolonged use. The lacing ensures the boot fits snugly around the foot, enhancing control.

The plates on this pair of roller skates are Chaya's Shari plates, crafted from a blend of nylon and fibreglass for a robust yet lightweight construction. Coupled with the 20° cast aluminium trucks and Jelly Interlock cushions, you get a highly manoeuvrable quad roller skate that is a pleasure to skate on and easy to control.

Octo Paseo wheels feature a soft and grippy 78A durometer. Combined with the Wicked ABEC7 bearings, you have a truly excellent setup. Note that if you plan to use these skates solely for indoor derby, harder wheels might be preferred for this particular use. Controller toe stops make changing direction and halting straightforward.

These skates are suitable for regular outdoor fitness skating. However, they are best utilised in parks and on vert ramps where they demonstrate their full capabilities. The mid-cut ankle design of the boot makes them ideal for Roller Derby beginners, although harder indoor wheels may be needed for this purpose.
