Description
From the original inventors of the, at the time, revolutionary Standard Compression System (SCS) comes a fresh approach to this fantastic compression type. Proto has reimagined the SCS, and the Sentinel is the outcome. A sturdy, no-nonsense method to stunt scooter clamps.
The Sentinel encapsulates 8 years of SCS development and includes numerous enhancements over older models. A primary aim has been to make the connection more supportive of the taller bars that are currently trending. This has been accomplished through a series of improvements. The area supporting the bar is a full 2", which enhances its stability by 30% compared to its predecessors.
Proto opted for 8mm bolts with 6mm heads on the clamp bolts. They utilise an offset slit, providing more receiving thread, thereby contributing to a robust and enduring connection.
Lastly, Proto has incorporated a threaded slot for access to the spreader bolt. This addition removes the necessity of employing the "penny"-trick when tightening SCS compression setups.
