Description
The NTN Freeride telemark bindings are robust and ideal for both resort skiing and off-piste freeride adventures.
The brake arms/stoppers have a width of 110mm. Separate stoppers with widths of 95mm or 125mm are available for purchase.
Featuring an easy step-in, step-out mechanism, these bindings include a downhill skiing mode and an uphill walking mode, all while allowing you the freedom of having free heels.
The NTN Freeride represents the more heavy-duty variant of telemark bindings from Rottefella. Offering excellent stability and quick response, they ensure superior ski control. Additionally, the bindings feature a heel lift position of 50mm.
Compatibility:
These bindings are solely compatible with NTN (New Telemark Norm) telemark boots from the brands Crispi, Scarpa, and Scott.
Flexibility (Powertubes with alternative flexibility can be purchased separately):
- The smaller version is equipped with a soft (green) powertube offering a gentle flex.
- The larger version is equipped with a medium (blue) powertube offering an average flex.
Rottefella suggests green powertubes for smaller boot sizes under 26.5 mondopoint, and blue powertubes for larger boot sizes over 26.5 mondopoint.
Sizes:
- The Small accommodates boot sizes 22.0 - 26.0 Mondopoint for the brands Scarpa and Crispi, and boot sizes 22.0 - 25.5 Mondopoint for the brands Garmont and Scott.
- The Large accommodates boot sizes 26.0 Mondopoint upwards for the brands Garmont and Scott, and boot sizes 26.5 Mondopoint upwards for the brands Scarpa and Crispi.
Note: These bindings lack a conventional and ISO-certified heel and toe release function. Nonetheless, Rottefella has developed a release function—following their mounting and adjustment recommendations ensures optimal performance.

"Excellent down hill telly binding. Well suited for aggressive skiers. Great for carving in natural or groomed trails. Quick response, so grant in moguls and pretty much anything the mountain throws at you. Very robust (had mine 10 years, full seasons). Great if you have more than one pair of skis, because very easily switchable form on pair of sticks to the next. I would not recommend for back country and ascension because too heavy. Awesome free ride binding. Won,t come off easily of you land a fall." | |
