NTN Freedom Telemark Ski Bindings

If you appreciate the elegant telemark style of skiing with liberated heels, the NTN Freedom telemark bindings from Rottefella might be your ideal choice.

The brake arm/stopper width is 110mm. Stoppers with a width of 95mm or 125mm can be purchased separately.

These telemark bindings from Rottefella are lightweight, offering a precise progressive flex and excellent power transfer, making them a suitable option for skiers focused on touring with lightweight gear. The two adjustable heel lift settings (35mm and 65mm) enhance uphill walking ease, while the walking angle is 60 degrees.

Operating the bindings is straightforward for stepping in & out, as well as for transitioning between downhill skiing mode and uphill walking with improved flex.

Compatibility:
These bindings are solely compatible with NTN (New Telemark Norm) telemark boots from the brands Crispi, Scarpa, and Scott.

Flexibility (Power tubes with alternative flexibility are available for separate purchase):

• The small variant includes a soft (green) power tube, providing a gentle flex.
• The large variant includes a medium (blue) power tube, offering a medium flex

Rottefella advises using green power tubes for small boots <26.5 mondopoint, and blue power tubes for large boots >26.5 mondopoint.

Sizes:

• The Small accommodates boot sizes 22.0 - 26.0 mondopoint from Scarpa and Crispi, and boot sizes 22.0 - 25.5 mondopoint from Garmont and Scott
• The Large is suitable for boot sizes 26.0 mondopoint and above from Garmont and Scott, and for boot sizes 26.5 mondopoint and above from Scarpa and Crispi

Note: These bindings lack a conventional ISO certified heel and toe release mechanism. However, Rottefella has developed a release function - We adhere to Rottefella's guidelines when installing and adjusting the bindings' release function.
