G13 Inline Skate Wheel

Advanced wheel designed for speed skating. Constructed using the four-part TR3 system known as "Core improvement" and G13 Polyurethane. Matter laboratories, in collaboration with the Powerslide Matter racing team, remains highly confident that this wheel is set to lead in track and road racing for many years to come.

The G13 PU provides excellent grip without compromising roll, while also delivering an impressive pop when coming out of turns. It incorporates S.E.R.T. technology, an abbreviation for Stored Energy Ring Technology. Neal Piper, the engineer behind the wheel, provides the best explanation of this technology:

"A critical structure in any inline racing wheel is the transition layer, where a softer structure connects with a much harder mounting base. This crucial energy management zone for a wheel is essential. At this pivotal hinge or pivot point, the power of the push and the “stored rotational energy” within the deflected tyre must remain intact. When the transition or mounting layer between the PU tyre and more rigid plastic hub is designed correctly, it achieves an ideal balance between tyre flexibility and energy release across the entire wheel."
