| "I was looking for an upgrade from my beginner aluminum poles after classic skiing for a few years now. After much consideration I ordered a pair of One/Way Storm 4s only to have Fischer cancel my order due to lack of inventory. So, I took a risk on these Longways seeing that they were 100% carbon, had a cork handle and harness style straps sized to the length of the pole (160cm w/ large strap for me). They are great! Rigidity is excellent, very light, and handles, strap, basket and carbide tip are all of good construction. Baskets are a little atypical in that they angle down sharply, but work great on groomed trails. Also, if you think Leki XC poles are ugly (how many logos can we fit on a pole!? 5? 6?), these are a simple flat blue/grey with minimal graphics. For the price especially, these poles are really working for me. Recommended." | |
