Star 5mm Back Zip Wetsuit

The Star series wetsuits from Mystic offer excellent options for all kinds of water sports, boasting the broadest variety of entry types and styles. The primary aim has been to create an affordable suit that provides a great deal of style and functionality.

This season, the collection sees exciting enhancements. Notably, every full suit now includes the soft and warming polar lining on both the back and chest. Additionally, Mystic has incorporated essential neoprene taping at the seams to improve protection against water ingress.

Features:

• Glued Blind Stitched
  • The method of gluing the seams before partially stitching them through the material is a fantastic way to waterproof the seams.
• Critical Taping Inside
  • Waterproof critical taping is applied to crucial areas of the wetsuit, preventing water penetration.
• Glideskin Thin Neck Construction
  • This construction reduces the thickness of the neck area, allowing the neoprene to contour the neck with less pressure, providing a second-skin feeling and excellent water closure.
• Aquabarrier
  • Silicone printing in key areas forms the Aquabarrier, creating a shield to prevent water entry.
• 4-way Stretch Kneepads
  • The Super-Tex fabric used in these kneepads is highly resilient and provides greater stretch, allowing for freedom of movement while protecting the knees.
• Velcro Ankle Closure
  • Velcro straps are included for the ankle area, offering a more secure fit and better preventing water entry. These straps are optional and not sewn into the suit, providing flexibility.
• Back-Zip
  • The Back-Zip method is the classic closure for wetsuits, known for its ease of use, although it can sometimes allow water in through the back of the neck liner. However, depending on the model, this may be mitigated with a double liner.

• 50% Soft Touch
  • Soft Touch is the standard neoprene used in many of Mystic's wetsuits, offering a laminated soft touch layer that ensures comfort and an accurate fit.
• Polar Lining (panel on chest and back)
  • Perfect for cold water activities, the Polar lining inside these suits is soft against the skin and reflects body heat to keep you warmer for longer.
