"Fit consistent with other Alpina XC ski boots. I own Alpina Carbon PRO skate boot EUR 44.5 (10.5 US) but could not locate this boot to use for Coaching and family skiing. I'm happy to report that the boot has substantially more insulation than the more expensive/performance-focused upper tier boot models. I opted to size up to EUR 45 (11 US) for more room to help the boot be warmer in the winter with more airspace (not too much) to help with -20C (and below) which I often see in Alberta / British-Columbia winters in Canada. Can't wait to go ski this boot... I was most excited about Gaitor hook on the T10...however it's pretty flimsy and my gaitors' were a bit tight to stretch out to reach it as a result I bent the metal hook attaching the gaitors indoors. Not sure if it'll hold-up over the years to come...wish Alpina included a heavier-gage metal hook and also made it a touch longer (~ 10mm)."
