Customising Your Mouthguard: Caution! Boiling water can be hazardous!

1. Boil water and let it cool for 30 seconds prior to submerging the adult mouthguard for 70 seconds. (30 seconds for Youth)

2. Remove the mouthguard from the water with a spoon, shake off water, and immediately position it onto the upper teeth. (The mouthguard should feel warm)

3. Once the upper teeth are aligned, bite down gently and use your tongue to press out air and excess water. You may also use your fingers to press the guard into place from the outside.

4. Keep the mouthguard in your mouth for 30 seconds, then remove it and rinse under cold running water.

5. If the fit isn't perfect, repeat the procedure until you achieve an ideal fit.

6. If the mouthguard is slightly too large, you can trim the ends with a knife.
