Prior to assembling the Cortex, the team at Éclat thoroughly analysed every difficulty encountered with previous freecoaster models, ensuring all were addressed in the development of the Cortex hub.

The V2 Cortex excels in executing crank flips while maintaining the same slack level. Several riders from the Éclat team have tested the Cortex Hub over two years to refine it to perfection and continue to ride it today.
