Yxr Optigrip 2.1 Classic Cross Country Skis

The YXR series comprises racing skis of world-class calibre, featuring exceptional structural innovations created using the finest materials and optimal design. The carbon and honeycomb core ensures that YXR skis perform wonderfully across all conditions, offering a light and enjoyable skiing experience. They provide superb uphill skiing and excellent stability on downhill runs and varied terrain. Medium-hard stiffness characterises these skis.

The YXR Optigrip 2.1 is a grip-coated ski, ideal for challenging and wet conditions when temperatures are near freezing. Its Optigrip coating is applied to the soft base in the ski’s midsection, eliminating the need for kick zone wax, while the tip and tail sections require regular glider wax application. To expand the range of usage slightly and enhance grip in challenging conditions, carefully roughening the kickzone area with sandpaper is recommended.
