"I've only been skating in rentals until now, so very much a novice review. Have done 2 hours on the ice in the K2s so far. Sizing - my feet are 280mm long, got the 9.5UK, perfect fit. I normally wear a wide fit shoe and these are definitely not wide fit skates but because of the flex of the soft boot it's still comfortable. Comfort - super comfy, night and day difference to the rentals. Around the foot it feels more like a soft shoe than a boot. The rigid support around the back of the ankle/bottom of the calf is almost uncomfortable in comparison, but I might just be clasping it too tight. The Boa system makes it so easy to get them on and off, and really simple to tighten. Because I have gotten used to the super tight and rigid rentals, I gave them a serious tighten to get the same feeling but because they boot is so soft there's a point where more tightening doesn't seem to change the feeling. Could just require some getting used to. All in all, very happy with them so far."

"Great skates. Very good support and a high level of padding and comfort. The innovative lace /strap system was very effective, allowing a close but comfortable and easily adjustable fit. Ideal for the leisure skater like myself who prefers more support than hockey skates provide."

"Huge disappointment, the blades (after proper sharpening, repeatedly) last less than 10 minutes, then get dull and the skates slip... Would not recommend."

"The fit is perfect for my size. I love the B.O.A. system. First time on the ice I had to get used to a soft boot compared to the ridged boot. After 4 hours of skating my feet still didn't hurt"

"Very comfortable. I’m not sure about the sizing advice. Following the directions provided I ended up with a bit too much room."

"Out of the box they were comfortable which is what I was looking for. The Boa system is awesome for getting them on and off. Will have to see how durable the cable system is. Skated yesterday at -14C at a snowy outdoor rink. The boots were plenty warm and fit more like a roller blades vs. a traditional hockey skate."

"Wish they could have a wide version of these boots. Their regular width runs pretty narrowly on wide feet."
