How to Attach Snowboard Bindings
Prior to hitting the slopes with your snowboard, ensuring that your bindings are correctly attached is essential. This brief guide will lead you through the process of securing snowboard bindings to your board. It is quite a simple task, and provided you have your equipment and a Phillips screwdriver, you’ll be ready to proceed. Be aware that varying snowboard binding systems exist based on the model, and this video addresses the system commonly known as traditional or classic, in which the bindings must be secured onto the board with screws:
- Position the binding over your board with the buckles facing outwards and open it fully.
- Lift the bottom rubber pad to reach the mounting area.
- Insert the mounting disc into the binding.
- A small arrow on the binding indicates the current angle.
- Rotate the disc to set your preferred angle and press it down firmly.
- Utilise the markings on the board to place the binding in the suggested position.
- With a large Phillips head screwdriver, tighten the screws in a criss-cross manner.
- Secure the bindings and follow the same procedure for the other binding.
Your bindings are now secured!
