Guide to Fitting an IHC Compression System
Need assistance with setting up your scooter compression system? In this video, we'll walk you through the process of fitting the IHC compression system for your stunt scooter:
- Start by applying grease to both the upper and lower sections of your head tube.
- Insert the upper and lower bearings into the head tube.
- Next, it's time to introduce the fork.
- Proceed by sliding on the C-ring, then add the IHC compression shim.
- Place the IHC compression top cap into position.
- Grease the IHC compression bolt, and begin fastening it.
- Utilise an Allen key to secure the compression.
- The fork should be free of side-to-side movement while it continues to rotate easily.
- Conclude by attaching the headset top cap.
- Ensure there remains at least a slight gap between the head tube and the headset top cap.
Your IHC compression system is now complete!
