Guide to Fitting EST Bindings
This video will guide you through the process of fitting EST bindings onto your snowboard. Burton EST bindings utilise the channel system, a prevalent snowboard binding system in use today:
- Begin by ensuring you possess an EST binding. It should include a channel insert.
- Then, lift off the rubber cover from the channel with a flat screwdriver.
- Place the EST mounting hardware into the channel.
- Next, open up your binding.
- Remember that there is a recommended mounting position on the board.
- Take your binding and line it up with the hardware you have just inserted.
- Press down on the channel insert to secure it within the channel.
- Using a Phillips screwdriver, take the provided screws and start attaching them to the board. Leave them slightly loose for now.
- The binding should still be movable at this stage.
- Adjust the binding according to the markers on the board.
- You can now fully tighten the screws and put the rubber cover back on.
Your bindings are now fitted!
