Instructions for Fitting a BMX Stem

Attaching a BMX stem is straightforward, and our simple video tutorial doubles the ease for fitting a Freestyle BMX stem:

Slide the stem onto the fork, ensuring there's a gap that will allow the top cap to compress the stem onto the headset.
If no gap is present, or if it's less than 2-3mm, introduce a spacer between the headset and stem.
Grease the threads of your top cap and secure it using an Allen key.
Align both the front wheel and stem, then tighten the side bolts of the stem.
Gradually alternate tightening the side bolts to ensure even fastening.

Voilà! Your stem is in place, and now you are ready to attach your handlebars!
