Guide to Building a Custom Skateboard

1. Begin by removing the foil, specifically the non-sticky side
2. Apply the griptape to the deck, starting from one end and progressing upwards
3. Score the griptape using an Allen key or screwdriver
4. Employ a box knife to trim any excess griptape - always slice upward at approximately a 45° angle
5. Use the coarse side of the leftover griptape to smooth the edges
6. Create holes in the griptape with the Allen key or a screwdriver for the bolts
7. Insert bolts into these holes
8. Align the trucks with the four bolts
9. Attach the locking nuts and tighten them in a cross-diagonal sequence
10. Repeat these actions for the other truck
11. Utilise the truck axle to fit the wheel bearings
12. Ensure that speed rings are positioned on both the top and bottom
13. Secure the locking nut and ensure the wheel spins freely
14. Repeat the process for the remaining wheels
