Guidelines for Wearing a Helmet
To get the most effective protection, it's vital to wear your helmet properly.
When helmets are positioned too low on the forehead, they may obstruct your vision. Conversely, positioning a helmet too high can increase the risk of harm during an accident.
Your helmet should sit horizontally and be aligned with your eyebrows. Avoid having it tilt backwards on your head. Ensure it fits well, and fasten the straps securely beneath your chin.
To ensure comfort, adjust the helmet padding according to your correct helmet size.
Measuring Head Circumference
Take a measurement of the head circumference just above the ears and eyebrows. The helmet should rest low and level on your head, maintaining a flat orientation.
