Purchasing Scooter Griptape

The reason for using griptape on stunt scooters is to improve grip and control on the deck. It resembles a large sticker, topped with sandpaper.

You should replace griptape regularly, either when it wears out, losing its sand, or when substantial sections are missing. Exposure to water and moisture noticeably reduces the lifespan of griptape.

The majority of griptape available from SkatePro is pre-cut to fit stunt scooters universally, but there are options intended for skateboards, which require self-cutting.

Ensure you remove any old griptape and clean the deck meticulously before applying new griptape.
