Scootering: A Sport for Every Age and Skill Level
Scootering offers enjoyment for individuals of all ages and skill levels. Using a scooter provides excellent cardiovascular exercise while enhancing leg and core muscle strength. Riding a scooter also boosts balance and coordination, helping in other sports and activities. Although kick scooters originated in the 1920s, it wasn’t until the 90s that modern aluminium scooters saw widespread popularity.
Stunt Scooters Designed for Tricks
Stunt scooters, also referred to as trick scooters, are primarily used in skateparks, urban settings, and car parks. Engineered for performing tricks and more aggressive riding, these scooters are built to endure pressure and wear. Consequently, contemporary stunt scooters are crafted to be lightweight yet robust. Customising trick scooters is quite common, either to replace worn-out components or to add a unique style. Generally, stunt scooters cannot be folded.
Big Wheel Scooters Provide Easy Transport
For travelling, we suggest scooters with large wheels, at least 120 mm in diameter. Known as commuter scooters, these are typically crafted for adults seeking an enjoyable and healthy method to navigate the city. Youth scooters usually fit into this category and come with either two or three wheels. Large wheel scooters can often be folded, making them convenient to carry on public transportation, or take to work or school. Big wheels offer excellent directional stability and can handle bumps and minor road cracks.
