Founded by Chet Thomas in 1997, the Darkstar brand is part of Dwindle Distribution, located in El Segundo, California. As of 2005, Dwindle Distribution has been recognised as the largest skateboard company globally. It was founded by Steve Rocco along with professional skateboarder Rodney Mullen.
