Description
These Chaya skates are brilliant for beginners wishing to embark on roller derby. This skate provides an excellent platform without a hefty price tag. The exciting part is that, if you decide roller derby is your calling, you can always enhance the plate, wheels, and other components for a more customised look and higher-quality parts.
The boot features a very soft construction with equally softer padding, ensuring a comfortable fit. It's crafted from a composite material that's easy to maintain and resistant to scratching, while its low-cut design allows for optimal manoeuvrability.
The Shari 3.0 plate on these Ruby skates combines nylon and fibreglass, both of which are exceptionally durable, resistant to wear, and lightweight. It can be mounted to most Chaya boots using the Dual Centre Mounting, which also allows for boot angling to suit your specific riding style atop the plate. The Power toe system enhances your power, speed, and control, maintaining a slight pre-tension in your muscles for quicker reactions.
In this setup, the Ruby does not use the DCM mounting system. Instead, it is mounted with a classic 4-bolt setup.
The trucks are constructed from aluminium and feature a 20º angle.
The Cherry Toe stopper provides increased control and manoeuvrability, while the semi-soft Jelly Interlock bushings offer a balance of comfort and control. The Wicked ABEC7 bearings ensure seamless rolling speed.
Notice: Due to a minor production flaw, the print on the wheels indicates 61mm/78A, but they are actually 59mm/92A
